“Connectome Predictive Models: Brain/Behavior Predictions and Extension to Clinical Variables” Abstract: This talk will focus on a new whole-brain approach to understanding the link between functional brain organization (as measured using fMRI) and subject performance on a range of tasks. The strengths and weaknesses of the approach will be discussed as well as variations of the model and the decisions that must be made along the analysis pathway. Demonstration that brainbehavior models can be predictive will be emphasized in this presentation. Methods for summarizing the complex network connections revealed and the difficulty of visualizing the spatial organization of the brain connections in this context will be discussed.
