What We Offer

TMII applies and validates imaging modalities, in both preclinical basic science and clinical research settings, to:

The Translational and Molecular Imaging Institute occupies approximately 20,000 square feet in the Hess Center of Science and Medicine.

TMII is responsible for coordinating

TMII is responsible for coordinating and executing all research projects performed in these facilities.

TMII is currently fully staffed to support all the image acquisition, image analysis, scheduling, and performance of the proposed experiments.

Provide a comprehensive in vivo imaging research service to the Mount Sinai and New York area communities

New projects using TMII Imaging Core resources are initiated with a project proposal. All projects are reviewed and approved by the Imaging Resources Management Committee (IRMC)

Ongoing resource time is based on user's ability to secure funding and overall progress of work.
